Music Monday: Stella StageCoach

I recently watched a video on Oh Joy! and came across this band called Stella Stagecoach. The band consists of two brothers - Matthew and Tim Morgan from Georgia.

Now i couldn't find the song "Everything you Say" which was the song I initially heard on the video but I came across an Acoustic version of "Stars" which Matthew Morgan performed with Jeremy Larson which is equally precious!

Now if you wanna know who Jeremy Larson is, well that's a whole other artist you HAVE to look up! He's married to one of my all-time favourite bloggers/crafter/small business owner - Elsie Flannigan who runs Red Velvet Shop and blogs at A Beautiful Mess.

It's always lovely to chance upon a little gem of a read and this is beginning to be my go-to poem when I need to find rest and peace in the midst of a busy world. The Peace of Wild Things BY  WENDELL BERRY When despair for the world grows in me and I wake in the night at the least sound in fear of what my life and my children’s lives may be, I go and lie down where the wood drake rests in his beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds. I come into the peace of wild things who do not tax their lives with forethought of grief. I come into the presence of still water. And I feel above me the day-blind stars waiting with their light. For a time I rest in the grace of the world, and am free.

Knitted together

Picture by Daniel Seliong The Tailor-Made Man is a powerful play and it's been awesome hearing the various accounts and reviews by people who caught it over the weekend. I didn't get the chance to watch it in its entirety but working behind-the-scenes on it brought a unique experience I never thought I'd have. I agreed to help out not because I'm amazing at theatre productions but I was there solely because Jason (JD) needed people to help with the play. Being a close friend and brother to me, I knew how much this production meant to him and decided that I would do all I could to help out. Little did I know, I would be in over my head! I joined the props and stage team where I felt my interest in crafting and designing could be put to use.
